Core Accomplishments

• Checklist Automation: Designed, developed, and deployed a PHP/MySQL checklist application that replaced a manual, fragile hourly check spreadsheet used by operations admins to monitor Orbitz's site stability. The tool proved highly durable, serving the NOC for a decade.
• Flexible Schema Configuration: Utilized XML configuration files to allow team members to easily add, modify, or retire server and site checks.
• Embedded Telemetry: Interfaced with the Graphite API using custom widgets to render dozens of real-time monitoring graphs inline on the checklist screen, reducing the time required to complete hourly verifications.
