Core Accomplishments

• High-Frequency Server Optimization: Researched motherboard, cooling, processor, and BIOS parameters to build stable, overclocked 1U rackmount systems. The resulting systems replaced over a third of the existing trading server fleet, delivering performance gains for execution queues.
• Low-Latency System Tuning: Tuned kernel runtime parameters, configured CPU thread pinning to dedicate physical cores to latency-sensitive Java applications, and optimized MySQL parameters to improve database query responses.
• Colocation Space Reduction: Designed high-density chassis layouts that halved physical space requirements in premium exchange colocation data centers.
