Core Accomplishments

• Ephemeral Cross-Cloud Authentication: Spearheaded integration of HashiCorp Vault's dynamic secrets engines into Confluent's Go and Python cloud microservices, replacing long-lived credentials with automatically rotated, short-lived tokens.
• Compliance Lead: Wrote and audited the security, access control, and incident management policies required to pass Confluent's first SOC2, PCI-DSS, and ISO27001 certification audits, helping unblock large enterprise contracts.
• Team Mentoring: Mentored other team leads on securely interacting with cloud-agnostic telemetry endpoints and secrets management infrastructure.
